In Sagunto, affectionately known as the “Dolorosa”; sculpted in the year 1952, in pine wood, duly dry, by the valencian imager D.Antonio Royo and D.Josè Rabasa, is a beautiful baroque imitation od “The Virgin of the Agony” of the master Salzillo.

The Virgin, broken pain, directing his gaze to he sky and it seems to as God; “Why Lord so much suffering?”.

The image of Jesus Christ dead, with all the bleeding wounds of his body and resting on the lap of his Mother, impressed if you focus on it.

This “anda” takes its way, only in the Procession of the Holy Burial, Friday afternoon and leaves after “The Descent” and before the “La Soledad”
