The Speaker recounts the passion and death of Jesus. On the main altar is Jesus crucified, with two scales supported on both parts of the Cross, guarded by four Mayorales, two on each side with their axes lit. While he requires two Mayorales to climb the Cross and remove the crown of thorns, the nails of the hands and feet, and entangled in a shroud, descend from the Cross, showing it to his mother, as well as to the people of Sagunt . Later it is introduced in the Sepulcher, to be transferred to the side of his mother, to the Chapel of the Blood, from where the Procession of the Holy Burial will come.
