Affectionately, the town of Sagunto calls her “Soledad”, beautiful image that was carved in wood by D.JosÒe Casanova Pinter, in 1945.

Her beautiful face, calm but sad, reflects his terrible suffering that life assigned her. It is the only that leads pallium.

“Soledad” exits the evening of Monday of Holy Week, in the Procession of the Encounter with the “Nazareno”, in an emotional encounter.

Is also carried to the church of Santa Maria to attend, next to the Holy Sepulchre, the ancient auto sacramental of the Descent, when finished it is tranferred back to the Chapel of the Blood.

In the Procession of the Holy Burial, sunset on Friday Spirit, coming after “Dolorosa” and before “The Sepulchre”.

After the “Nazareno”, it is the “anda” that more penitents accompany.
