This spectacular sepulchre carved in the year 1942 by the sculptor D.Vicente Rodilla Zanón, carved out of wood and all golden, is an exact copy of the destroyed and burned in the Civil War.
Next to the image of the Soledad, it transferred to the church of Santa María to “participate” in the Sermon on the Descent.
Christ is articulated as it descends from the cross and is deposited on the inside of solemn form in the “Desclavament” in its interior a recumbent Christ, carved in the year 1943, by the same sculptor of the Nazareno.
Only parade in the Procession of the Holy Burial, on Good Friday, and leaves behind the Soledad and before the “Vera Cruz”, it is tradition that a choir accompany in the procession.
