This image replaces another carved by the same sculptor, in the year 1941 that wore clothing and the crown of thorns was of hawthor plant, but it started deteriorating very quickly and had to make a new one.
This image always accompanies us every time we visit other processions.
It exits in the Procession of Imposition of Medals the Friday of Sorrows, on Holy Wednesday in the Procession of Silence accompanying the Christ of the Good Peace, and the Holy Burial Procession the evening of Holy Friday, where after the Whipping and before of the Nazarene.
